Engineering Manager

A leading DeFi protocol is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its Backend Infrastructure team. The team recently secured $50 million in funding from industry top VCs and they are looking for an an Engineering Manager to lead our Backend Infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5+ backend/DevOps engineers
• Own infrastructure roadmap and execution
• Build scalable, reliable backend systems
• Improve observability, manage incidents, reduce tech debt
• Collaborate with product to support new features

Tech Stack

Languages: TypeScript, Rust

Infra: Kubernetes, Terraform

Domain: EVM-based blockchain

Requirements

• Previous experience in leading backend teams (5+ engineers)
• Previous experience building & scaling backend APIs
• Strong TypeScript, Kubernetes, and Terraform skills
• Solid understanding of EVM/blockchain systems
• Experience with production SLAs & incident management
